Welcome

A very warm welcome to Bussage C of E Primary School. We are situated in the village of Bussage, on the top of a hill with stunning countryside and views. Bussage is a village of rural background and is close to the historic market town of Stroud, which lies below the western escarpment of the Cotswold Hills in an area of beauty. Our school is single form entry for ages 4 – 11 and can accommodate up to 210 pupils. Our children join us largely from the surrounding areas of Bussage, Eastcombe and Chalford. We offer wrap around care in the form of a Breakfast Club, which runs from 7:45 am daily; and an After School Club which runs until 5:15pm Monday to Thursday and until 4:15pm on a Friday. We have beautiful extensive grounds inclusive of a wild classroom forest school area, a tranquility garden, trim trail, adventure playground and musical playground.

Pupils are keen to learn and behave well. They are polite and respectful.

The school is a purposeful place to learn. Pupils are not afraid to make mistakes in their learning. They form strong relationships with their peers and with adults.

Children, parents and carers and staff love this school.
