Class 6 - Spring 2026
Blood, Bones and Body Bits!
Bones, Bones, Bones
Class 6 had a fantastic time creating life-size skeletons. They began by researching the bones of the human body, then worked in groups to draw around one team member. Using careful measurements, they recreated the bones to build their own skeletons. Take a look at our classroom display below!

Mighty Muscles
Class 6 had great fun learning about muscles. They explored how muscles help our bones to move and identified which muscles are used during everyday activities such as moving and reading. The children learned that muscles work in pairs to contract and relax, and that they are attached to bones by tendons and ligaments. We finished the lesson by experimenting with using different muscles, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
